I evaluated many different associations for professional development when I became Vice President and found that ACPA offers the breadth and depth in research, scholarship, and year-round professional development that advances Cal Poly Student Affairs like no other association. We regularly share ABOUT CAMPUS articles for discussion and have found that our team members have benefited tremendously from the year-round institutes. I have even purchased memberships for my President and Provost so that they can be connected with the leading scholarship of our field. Having Cal Poly's senior-most leaders be connected with ACPA and the issues in student affairs helps me to fulfill our mission of promoting student success for every student.
