ACPA Awards celebrate and honor colleagues who have made a profound impact within ACPA and the profession as a whole. We have been very fortunate to have dedicated ACPA volunteers serve on the Awards Committee and we need your assistance in continuing this strong volunteer tradition of honoring these great people and institutions who are Award Recipients.

Awards Committee

Apply to the Committee

Recognition is an important component to member engagement, recruitment, and retention.  ACPA is seeking applicants to become a part of the ACPA Awards and ACPA Award Reviewer Committee.

The Awards Committee coordinates ACPA’s annual awards process including over 150 opportunities to recognize outstanding professionals, scholars, programs, mentors, colleagues, and graduate students through our Association-wide and individual entity awards. Committee members help in the dissemination of information regarding the awards nomination process, aid as necessary in the development of selection committees, and coordinate the awards reception at Convention.

Members of the ACPA Awards Committee should expect to:

  • Participate in monthly conference calls April through November, and bi-weekly calls December through March.
  • Work on tasks related to the coordination of awards and collection of recipient information and award processes between calls..
  • Attend ACPA’s annual International Convention to aid in the running of the awards ceremony, reception, and related events.
  • Serve a three year term on the ACPA Awards Committee to support our recognition efforts from 2021-2024.
