I want to personally invite you to ACPA headquarters at One Dupont Circle NW in Washington, DC on Friday, 9 September 2016 from 3-5 PM where we will celebrate the launch of ACPA’s Special Edition of the Global Diversity and Inclusion Benchmarks (GDIB) for Higher Education.
The GDIB assessment is available at no charge to college and university campuses of all types. Recently described as "a game changer for organizations and society," the GDIB is being used in large, medium and small organizations in various sectors, industries, and regions around the world to improve institutional performance and catalyze positive social change. Permission for use information will be available at the launch.
If you need to start or further develop your diversity, equity and inclusion campus-wide plan to improve organizational effectiveness and meet the needs of your students, faculty and staff, we recommend use of the GDIB as a primary assessment tool.
We are a nation divided on racial and gender lines and current campus climate reflects this division. In spite of great efforts by many, disparity of access and achievement persists among racial and gender lines. A deeper and more systematic approach is needed.
Please bring a colleague to celebrate this new way to assert human dignity as the central organizing principle in our work. We would love to know that you plan to attend and if you are bringing a guest.
