The 2011 ACPA Annual Convention in Baltimore focused on the critical issues facing student affairs student affairs educators in the coming year — leadership in challenging times, evidence and improvement, and student success. With keynotes from then, Mayor Cory Booker, Morris Dees, and panelists such as Eboo Patel, Wayne Firestone and Steven Farr, the discussions and insights tied them to the theme of “being more” or “becoming more” as a professional. The 2011 Annual Convention also marked the launch of the “The New C3” also known as Career Central Convention, a career resource and placement center for employers and candidates.
