ACPA has proven to be a valuable professional home for countless Bowling Green State University undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni for almost fifty years. Each year at the Annual Convention, we witness the influence that ACPA has as our BGSU staff, faculty, students, and alumni reunite to engage in professional and personal development. It’s also an opportunity for members of our Falcon family to share accomplishments, successes, and challenges with each other.
As a student affairs division, our close connection and partnership with the College Student Personnel Program and the Higher Education Administration doctoral program have been instrumental in the success of our division. ACPA has played a major role in providing valuable professional development and leadership opportunities for our students and faculty as well as our Student Affairs professionals..
From undergraduates participating with Next Generation, to convention programs presented by our students, faculty, and staff, to faculty and staff assuming leadership roles within the organization and on Convention planning teams, these experiences in ACPA have made a tremendous impact on our community.
Our collective involvement in ACPA is also significant as BGSU serves as the home of the National Student Affairs archives. We welcome researchers to our campus each year as they research the history of our profession.
Involvement in ACPA has made a difference at Bowling Green State University, and we look forward to enhancing these opportunities.
