Call for Volunteers: ACPA Leadership Pathways Implementation Team

In June 2014, The ACPA-College Student Educators International Governing Board created the Leadership Pathways Working Group to assess current practices for encouraging/supporting members to move into leadership roles, identity effective practices that result in a more diverse representation among leaders, identify current practices that may unintentionally result in more homogeneous group of leaders, and develop recommendations for changes and new practices as needed.

The Governing Board accepted the working group’s report on October 8^th and empowered ACPA President Gavin Henning to create an implementation team to explore the feasibility of executing each recommendation, to make recommendations to the Governing Board regarding logistics of implementation, and to establish related timelines.
