Leadership is an integral competency for the student affairs profession. Student affairs professionals and faculty play an essential role in coordinating, shaping, and evaluating the leadership development on their campuses by designing leadership courses and programs, creating co-curricular opportunities, and utilizing emerging technologies. A partnership between, ACPA-College Student Educators International, NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs (NCLP), the Leadership Educators Institute provides a unique opportunity for all professional levels within our field to engage in critical dialogue to support leadership development, and we hope you’ll join us December 9-11, 2018 in Orlando, Florida for the2018 Leadership Educators Institute.
We invite you to contribute to this impactful event by submitting a program proposal. Our call for programs deadline is June 1, 2018 and we are excited to review proposals related to our four Institute themes:
- Leadership Development Theory and Models
- Leadership Curriculum and Program
- Technology, Research, and Assessment in Leadership Programs
- Leadership in Context
Join us in Orlando and register by the early-bird deadline of September 21, 2018 to get the best rates and engage in learning and dialogue related to leadership on campus.
Sincerely,
The 2018 Leadership Educators Institute Planning Committee
