Ivy Tech Get To Know Us is designed to introduce Ivy Tech faculty and staff to all that ACPA- College Student Educators International has to offer. It includes exposure to our Commissions, Standing Committees, State and International Divisions, Professional Development Opportunities, and our culture of generating and disseminating knowledge.
Starting March 10, 2014, any Ivy Tech Community College faculty or staff member can register for a complimentary ACPA membership. This program welcomes faculty and full-time student affairs and student services professionals.
Benefits
From March 10 – June 30, 2014, members who participate will receive:
- Electronic access to The Journal of College Student Development (JCSD), weekly eCommunity, and quarterly issue of Developments;
- Members-only rates to attend professional development events such as the upcoming Symposium on the Recruitment & Retention of Students of Color held in Indianapolis, Phyllis L. Mable New Professionals Institute, and Student Affairs Assessment Institute; and of course, the ACPA Indianapolis 2014 Convention;
- Complimentary access to members-only publications such as The ASK Standards, Professional Competency Areas for Student Affairs Practitioners and Toward A Sustainable Future: The Role of Student Affairs in Creating Healthy Environments, Social Justice, and Strong Economies.
- Access to the Commission for Two Year Colleges and the Commission for Commuter Students and Adult Learners
