Kelly Schrader

Chair

Kelly Schrader (she/her/hers) is the Coordinator for Academic Integrity at the University of Maryland, College Park. Kelly joined the Coalition for Women's Identities Directorate Board in 2015. Kelly is committed to leading in partnership with the CWI Directorate Board to attend, respond, and adapt to the needs of our constituents and further those needs within the larger association. Kelly's salient social identities are white, cis-gender woman, able bodied, first generation college student from a low socioeconomic status family of origin. Kelly earned her B.A. from Rider University and M.Ed. from University of Delaware. Prior to working at Maryland, Kelly worked as a Title IX Coordinator and Resident Director. Kelly serves as a Facility Director for Kappa Alpha Theta, and she is a proud member of Phi Sigma Sigma.

Carla Fullwood

Directorate Board Member

Carla Fullwood (she/her/hers) has diverse experiences in higher education including roles in housing and residence life, new student orientation, admissions, campus programming, and multicultural student services. She currently works as the Assistant Director of the McNair Scholars program at UNC-Greensboro. Her professional interests are designing and facilitating learning opportunities about social justice, racial equity, intercultural competency development, and intergroup dialogues. Carla is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the educational leadership and cultural foundations program at UNC-Greensboro with research interests in Black Women Administrators in Higher Education, Black Feminist Theory, Critical Race Feminism, and Race Dialogues.

 

Bridget M. Sullivan

Directorate Board Member

Bridget M. Sullivan (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director for Office of Student Access and Accommodations at MCPHS University, serving the needs of students across 3 campuses in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Previously, she served as the Manager for Disability Support Services at Cambridge College. Bridget is interested in the intersection of disability and health education, sexual assault response and prevention, and exploring intersectional public health education as a whole. Bridget is currently enrolled in an Master's of Public Health Program to further her goal of understanding intersectional public health education.

Dr. Blanca E. Vega

Directorate Board Member

A native New Yorker, Dr. Blanca E. Vega is the daughter of Ecuadorian immigrants. Dr. Vega earned a doctorate (Ed.D) from the Higher and Postsecondary Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. During and prior to that time, she worked in various administrative positions within higher education spanning over 16 years. Some of these areas include financial aid counseling and coordinating and directing New York State opportunity programs, such as the Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) and the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP). Dr. Vega earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Brandeis University and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education at New York University. Dr. Vega is currently an Assistant Professor of Higher Education, where she is currently researching how state policies specific to undocumented students shape the behaviors and practices of administrators and faculty in higher education.

Emily Paetz

Emily Paetz (She/her/hers) currently serves as the Assistant Director of Residential Life at Ohio Wesleyan University. Emily shared joined CWI because she is interested in being more involved with ACPA as a new professional and is passionate about womxn in leadership. One of her interest areas is elevating and supporting womxn in higher education.
