Dr. Christina Wright Fields is a faculty member within the Education Department at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She holds a bachelors in Biology from Millersville University, M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Drexel University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University. She has worked with numerous initiatives focusing on diversity, internationalization, student retention, and community partnerships. Her research focuses on culturally relevant pedagogy, academic access and success, and student identity development. She has presented at ASHE, NASPA, ACPA, AERA, and NCORE conferences.

Gloria Howell is the Associate Director of the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center and Adjunct Instructor for freshmen in the Hudson and Holland Scholars Program, a first-year seminar at Indiana University Bloomington. She received her BA in Broadcast Journalism in 2011 and MA in Higher Education/Student Personnel in 2013 both from the University of Mississippi. She also earned a PhD in Higher Education and Student Affairs from IU in 2019. Gloria's research areas include: arts education in postsecondary classrooms, Black students' experiences on campus, student activism, and college readiness for underrepresented students.

Faculty In Residence, Vice Chair for Scholarly Development & Faculty Outreach
T. Lynn Hogan is the Director of Critical Thinking Initiatives and Quality Enhancement Reviews at Florida State University. He recently served as the Associate Dean for Academic and Student Services in the College of Visual Arts, Theatre and Dance where his areas of responsibility included academic advising, academic policy interpretation, accreditation, budget management and student services. In 2008 and 2009, he served as the Interim Chair of the Department of Art. In 2012-13, he was the Interim Dean of the College of Visual Arts, Theatre and Dance. He has taught courses in leadership in the arts in the School of Theatre.
Dr, Hogan earned a PhD in higher education administration from Bowling Green State University, a masters degree in journalism from The University of Georgia, a bachelors degree in public relations from The University of Georgia and an associates degree in accounting from South Georgia College.
Lynn is active in ACPA. He is the Faculty-In-Residence for the Commission for Academic Affairs Administrators and is a recipient of the Commission’s Award for Service to the Commission and ACPA and for Scholarly Achievement. He has published and presented nationally on topics such as client services, career development, relationships between academic and student services and HIV/AIDS in higher education. Dr. Hogan is the editor of Student Affairs for Academic Administrators. <p> </p>

Vice Chair for Sponsored Programs
Ivanna Colon known to many colleagues as Ivy, is the Assistant Director for Upward Bound at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She has worked for other opportunity programs such as the McNair Scholar Program and the Access to Collee Excellence Program. Ivy is a graduate of Binghamton University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and a Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration. In 2016, she received the Outstanding New Professional Award from the Coalition for Multicultural Affairs and in 2017 she received the Community Service and Advancement award from the Latin@/x Network at ACPA. Ivy served on the 2020 Convention Planning Team as the Career Development and Advancement Chair. She is very excited to continue her work within the organization.

Vice Chair for Special Project and Initiatives, Former Co-Chair
Dr. Ceceilia Parnther is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Administrative and Instructional Leadership at St. John’s University. In her work, Parnther develops and implements qualitative research designs to explore postsecondary student success policies and outcomes. Her research agenda centers culture and equity and includes mentorship and student success, academic integrity education, and knowledge acquisition/dissemination in higher education. Dr. Parnther’s career path as a scholar-practitioner includes roles in academic and student affairs; she has served in leadership and teaching positions in higher education administration for 15 years. Among others, Dr. Parnther’s most recent scholarship is in Innovative Higher Education and the Journal of College Student Retention: Research, Theory, and Practice.
Dr. Shetina M. Jones
Vice Chair for Commission Awards
Dr. Shetina M. Jones received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Eastern Michigan University. Dr. Jones completed her PhD at Indiana State University on high-achieving Black women at HBCUs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematic (STEM) fields or majors. She has over 12 years of experience working in Higher Education in academic affairs, campus life, multicultural affairs, residence life, and student affairs leadership. Dr. Jones has worked at Wilberforce University, Texas A & M University-Commerce, Indiana State University, Michigan State University, The University of Michigan, Cornell University, and Eastern Michigan University. Her research interests are historically, Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), and Black women in STEM. She has been an active member in the American College Personnel Association Educators-International (ACPA), Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), and National Association for Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). In her spare time, she enjoys bowling, writing, shopping, volunteering, and traveling. Also, Dr. Jones is a co-founder of Fearlessly Fierce a non-profit organization that supports young girls and women who experienced maternal loss.

Vice Chair of Membership & Recruitment, Former Co-Chair
Cathy Carlson is the Associate Dean of Academic Services at Bentley University, Waltham, MA. She directs the staff and operations of the Advising Center and works with members of the Student Affairs staff on individual student issues which affect them both academically and personally. Cathy holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont, a master's degree in Counselor Education from Penn State University and a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Muhlenberg College. Prior to joining Bentley in summer 2014, Cathy was the Assistant Dean for Student Services at the University of Vermont, School of Business Administration.

Vice Chair for Technology & Communication
Emily Kashka is the Assistant Director in Undergraduate Research & Encirhment Programs at Drexel University. In this role she supports students participating in undergraduate research across all disciplines. She also manages the Drexel High School Scholars Program, a program that allows Philadelphia-area high school students to enroll in undergraduate courses at Drexel. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology in 2013 and MA in Communications in 2015 from Johns Hopkins University.

Katherine Madden is the Master’s Program Manager in the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education (CSHPE) at the University of Michigan. Katie is a proud Notre Dame alumna, in addition to holding a master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a PhD in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education (HALE) from Michigan State University. She is a past chair for the ACPA Standing Committee on Disability, now the Coalition for Disability.
