(6/15/21). Greetings! I am pleased to announce we are taking applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Practice position in College Student Affairs (Rutgers).  The incumbent will focus on administering the experiential components of the CSA program, such as managing field experience opportunities and internships, collaborating with program partners in student affairs, and developing and teaching courses that focus on professional practice. Responsibilities include teaching approximately 18 credits per academic year, graduate student advisement, administrative duties, and service.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have a strong background in working with minoritized populations, as well as a focus on social justice, equity, and inclusion in education. Candidates who have extensive experience in student affairs practice are preferred. Involvement in student affairs professional organizations (i.e., ACPA or NASPA) via membership, conference attendance, and program presentations is ideal. Experience teaching at the post-secondary level is preferred, particularly at the graduate level.

The Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation, & Organizational Development in the University of Louisville's College of Education and Human Development is seeking a full-time, 12-month, clinical faculty professor (non-tenure track). Primary duties include teaching in the higher education program, executive programs, and professional development workshops. The instruction includes educating instructors and professors of military science of ROTC programs and other partnership offerings. The higher education program offers courses in-person, online, hybrid, and an executive format.  Also, the military-based programs are offered in a focused, executive format with daily, all-day course meetings throughout the year and online clinical/coaching courses. Topical expertise must include two or more of the following areas: learning sciences, instructional strategies, curriculum, teaching and learning, college student development, workforce training and development.

(4/22/21). The Department of Counseling and Higher Education at Northern Illinois University seeks to hire an assistant or associate professor with expertise in higher education. The successful candidate will have a record of scholarship, teaching, and service in higher education. The successful candidate will contribute in the areas of scholarly productivity; grant procurement; graduate student mentorship; thesis/dissertation direction; university, college, and departmental committee service; and the establishment of partnerships with professional organizations within both the Illinois region and nationally. Participate in student recruitment and retention initiatives, develop innovative department/college curricular and programmatic initiatives. The qualified candidate is expected to teach graduate courses at the DeKalb and Naperville campuses and online.
