Commission for Two-Year Colleges at Convention

During the 2021 Virtual Convention we will have multiple ways to engage. Below is an image with a list of those opportunities. 

Commission Open Meeting 
This is a chance for members or the commission or those interested in it to come together and hear from the directorate board about what has gone on in the past year and what we have in store for the future. This is also a time for commission members to voice what they would like to see done by the commission. 

Lounge & Learn 
These sessions, which will occur throughout convention, are informal gatherings of individuals who want to discuss issues relevant to two-year institutions. They will take place in common areas and be a relaxed opportunity to engage with commission members and those interested in two-year collegs.

Commission Social / Reception 
Each year out commission hosts a lively reception where past directorate board members, current commission members, and those interested in two-year colleges can gather to be social and make connections that are so vital to the work of student affairs and higher education. Brief announcements and celebrations occur but this is mainly a socializationa and networking opportunity.
