Will J. Cribby
Commission Chair
Will (He/Him/His) is currently serving as the Assistant Dean of Students at Bunker Hill Community College. He has worked as a Student Affairs professional for over 20 years having worked at a number of State and Private Higher Education institutions in the New England region. He is dedicated to the development of the whole student and working with students to engage with resources to support their success in the Community College setting and beyond.
Will has been a member and been involved with ACPA for over 20 years. Will has held previous leadership roles including Past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of ACPA and served on the Coalition for Sexuality and Gender Identities (formerly the Standing Committee for LGBTQIA).
Will Cribby received his Master of Education in Counseling with a concentration in Higher Education from Bridgewater State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of New Hampshire.
Needham Yancey Gulley
Commission Past Chair
Dr. Yancey Gulley (he, him, his) spent 15 years as a college administrator (primarily in the two-year college settings) prior to moving into a faculty role. He is currently an associate professor of Higher Education Student Affairs at Western Carolina University. Yancey has been with the Commission for about 6 years and is the immediate past chair. With over 20 years in the academy, Yancey has a long history of advocating for social justice within the educational context through his scholarship, teaching, publications, presentations, trainings, and volunteer endeavors. He was honored by ACPA College Student Educators International by being named at 2019 Diamond Honoree for his contributions to the field of student affairs and the impact of his research, teaching, and service on student development.
When not focused on the growth and development of students, he enjoys spending time with his husband, Corey, and his dog, Sedgwick. His interests beyond the academy include: travel, literature, theatre, and a good patio or warm fire pit.
JoHyun “Jo” Kim

Dr. JoHyun (Jo) Kim is an associate professor of Higher Education and Learning Technologies at Texas A&M University-Commerce. She also serves as master’s program coordinator for higher education master’s program. She holds her Ph.D. in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior moving into a faculty role, she spent several years as a staff and administrator at Parkland Community College and Western Illinois University. Her research examines how underserved youth and adult students (minority, LGBTQ, low income, international, first-generation students, and immigrants) can access to and succeed in community college.
Matthew K. Robison
Directorate Board Member
Dr. Matthew K. Robison (He/Him/His) currently serves as the inaugural Dean of Students and Chief Student Affairs Officer at Gordon State College in Barnesville, GA. In this role, he leads the Student Affairs functions at the college which includes Counseling Center, Accessibility Services, Housing and Residence Life, New Student Orientation, Recreation & Intramurals, Club Sports, Student Activities and Recreation Center (SARC), Student Health Center, and Student Life. He has worked in higher education for over twenty years at both two and four year colleges. Before coming to Gordon State, Dr. Robison worked at Kennesaw State University, Georgia Perimeter College, Georgia State University, and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University, Master’s in Higher Education Administration from New York University, Bachelors of Science from Mississippi State University, and Associate of Arts from Itawamba Community College.
Jacquelyn “Jacqui” Rogers

Jacqui Rogers (She/Her/Hers) is the Coordinator of Transfer and Articulation at the College of Southern Maryland. In May 2019, Jacqui completed her Master of Arts Degree in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution from Salisbury University. She has previously worked at Salisbury University, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and Wesley College.
Ashley Weets
Directorate Board Member
Ashley Weets (She/Her/Hers) is the Director of Student & Enrollment Services at Central Community College in Kearney, NE. She completed her M.S. in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University in 2008 and received a B.A. in Communication from Wartburg College. Ashley has worked in higher education for over ten years, including roles in leadership programs, student activities, residence life, and has had the opportunity to teach prior to her current position. She is excited to get involved with ACPA again and serve on a Directorate Board, having previously done an internship in the ACPA International Office and served on the Directorate for the Standing Committee for Graduate Students & New Professionals (now the Graduate Students and New Professionals Community of Practice).
