Showcase the Transformation & Evolution of the Coalition: Demonstrate the legacy and continued advocacy of the coalition within the scope of ACPA as well as higher education:
- Curate and create history of CSGI through the years
- Focus on Scholarship, Advocacy, Praxis & Professional Development
Leverage Scholarship, Mentorship & Professional Affinity: Increase collaboration across coalitions, networks, and commissions that span the intersections of diverse sexualities & gender identities:
- Develop a network of mentorship
- Increase programmatic offerings outside of the convention experience
- Reassess and reduce programmatic offerences within the convention experience to focus on community and coalition building
- Working with I/O toward ensuring more equitable distribution of resources in supporting strategic imperative work.
Digitize Decolonization & Racial Justice: Increase social media presence by focusing on culture, collaboration and processes within a decolonized, racially just context as well as in content
- Addressing not only racial justice bu antipblackness in the LGBTQ+ movement
- Amplify the national conversation on anti-transgender violence disproportionately impacting Black trans womxn and provide resources to support their safety
