The call for Program Reviewers for the 2019 Annual ACPA Convention in Boston, Massachusetts is unfortunately over, but for future reference this was our 2019 process!
In order to participate as a Program Reviewer for the CLGBTA Sponsored Programs, sign up at the ACPA19 Call For Reviewers webpage! When asked “Are you interested in reviewing sessions on behalf of entities for sponsorship?,” please select the Coalition for LGBT Awareness. As outlined by ACPA Program Reviewers are expected to:

Be available to evaluate and review programs from 10 – 21 September, 2018.

Participate in the Review Training process to ensure understanding of evaluation tools and the process.

Provide three hours of service to ACPA by reviewing no more than eight proposals.

Use a rubric to consistently review all assigned proposals.

Consider how the proposals connect to the ACPA/NASPA Professional Competencies, the #ACPA19 vision, and to relevant contextual and/or theoretical perspectives.

Evaluate how proposals utilize inclusive language; providing feedback on the use of any marginalizing language (e.g., ableist, gendered, racist).

Provide constructive, thoughtful, equitable, and inclusive feedback to the coordinating presenter(s).
